First Heavy Metal came into my life and only much later the urge to capture it in pictures. My fascination with atmospheric promo shots of bands, the heat of the moment in photos taken at concerts and last but not least visible proof of how much real metal-heads and metal-chicks like to transport their belonging to a fantastic and alive subculture to the outside world made me want to pick up a camera myself.
